Embrace Wigan and Leigh: Charity of The Year 2024
Firstly, we are delighted to announce our Charity of The Year for 2024 is Embrace Wigan and Leigh. We received an incredible amount of nominations when we launched our Charity of The Year campaign. The positive recommendations from the Wigan Borough was without a doubt truly inspiring.
Embrace are a user-led charity that support disabled individuals and their families. Since 2000 they have been tirelessly working towards enhancing the lives of those they support. Through a vast variety of projects and initiatives. Furthermore Embrace aims to ensure that all disabled people have the opportunity to be valued, included, and have real life choices. At the heart of Embrace is a powerful mission: to advocate for the rights and well-being of disabled individuals. Their dedicated team work incredibly hard daily to fullfill their mission. Significantly empowering disabled people and their families every step of the way.

As part of partnership we have outlined several initiatives for fundraising throughout the year for our Charity of The Year Embrace Wigan and Leigh. This includes participating in the Wigan 10k to raise money, planning fundraisers, and leveraging Lansafe’s expertise in managed services and IT Support. Our continued collaboration with Embrace Wigan and Leigh exemplifies a shared commitment to making a positive difference in the Wigan Borough community.
Charity of the Year 2023: The Brick, Wigan
In 2023, we proudly partnered with The Brick, Wigan as our Charity of the Year. The Brick is an anti-poverty charity based in Wigan. The Brick does amazing things in the community for people transitioning through homelessness, financial hardship and crisis.
Our collaboration with The Brick came after unfortunate circumstances. A distressing news story that our MD Lee Roby saw online, detailing a break-in that jeopardised the vital work of The Brick.
