The redevelopment of Edge Hall Road represents far more than an infrastructure upgrade; it symbolises the regeneration of a historic site that once played a vital role in the club’s training history and is now returning to prominence as a shared base for Wigan Warriors Women’s and Wigan Athletic Women’s teams.
Our role within this project has been to deliver a complete technology and security upgrade that ensures the facility meets modern professional standards while remaining safe, reliable and future-ready. From high-performance communications systems to advanced safety infrastructure, every element has been carefully implemented to support the daily operations of players, coaching staff and visiting teams.
The systems installed include a high-speed network capable of supporting live match broadcasting and media activity, dependable WiFi and telecoms coverage throughout training and office areas, and a comprehensive security setup featuring CCTV, intruder detection and fire protection systems. Together, these solutions provide a robust environment that allows the teams to focus fully on performance, development and progression.
